Unlocking the potential of biofuels for aviation and marine in Europe and beyond
The Project
REFOLUTION aims to decarbonize the aviation and marine transport by delivering a cost-effective production of advanced biofuels via a process that can be implemented in existing European refineries.
The project is designed to facilitate the market uptake of advanced biofuels in Europe by tackling the challenges limiting their full development. The implementation of REFOLUTION technology is expected to reduce both capital and operational costs of production, respectively by 50% and by 45%.
