From 10 to 12 September 2024, the International Conference on Thermochemical Conversion Science took place in Itasca, Illinois, bringing together leading experts, researchers, and industry representatives in the field of thermochemical biomass conversion. The event provided an important platform for exchanging the latest scientific advancements and exploring emerging technological pathways for sustainable fuels and bioenergy.
Within this highly qualified context, our project REFOLUTION gained significant visibility thanks to the contribution of Robbie Venderbosch, Senior Engineer at BTG Biomass Technology Group. During his presentation, he delivered an in-depth technical analysis “πΊπππππππππ πππππππππ πππ ππ ππππ πππ ππππππππππ: ππππππ πππ π πππππππππππ” offering valuable insights into the progress and challenges associated with the stabilization and upgrading of pyrolysis oils.
The presentation, carried out in collaboration with the FUEL-UP Project, highlighted the complementary research efforts of both initiatives and showcased how their results contribute to advancing innovative solutions for the production of sustainable, advanced biofuels. This joint exposure at such a high-profile international conference represented a meaningful opportunity to disseminate REFOLUTIONβs early findings and strengthen connections with the global scientific community.
